HYGIENE & HEALTHCARE IN BRICK FACTORY  SCHOOL

LOCATION: BHAKTAPUR, NEPAL

DATE-TWO WEEKS IN FEBRUARY / MARCH

Help us transform the lives of some of the world's most marginalized children and their  families!

THE ROLE

Street Child opened the Brick Factory School in January 2017 for children of factory workers  who seasonally migrate to the area. Vår  skole giver mulighed for at omkring hundre børn forbliver engagerede i uddannelse, mens deres foreldre gør bricks. Vi har også bygget kjønsfølsomme  WASH-faciliteter, men implementering av beste praksis er nøkkelen til å forbedre helse og øke  tilstedeværelsen i klasser. This is where we need you!

Together with our amazing local team, you will work to promote health and hygiene best  practices in this community of about five hundred. By conducting interactive healthcare  workshops for both parents and children, you will be contributing towards our longer term  goal of providing a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for them to thrive.  No qualifications necessary, but we need positive and flexible individuals who are up for  a challenge!

WHAT WILL YOU GET OUT OF IT?

As well as learning about the humanitarian sector, this is a great opportunity to build   on your own communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. This will be an immersieve ervaring waar u de eerste hand de uitdagingen tegenover sommige van de meest marginaliseerde gemeenschappen  in Nepal en onze samenwerking met hen zal ervaren . The country is also  hugely popular with tourists, so we highly recommend you travel around!

Hvis du er  villig til å gå ut af din komfortområde, vil du være med på å bidra til positive endringer når du lærer nye ferdigheter, for å vinne venner og utforske en ny  kultur så kom i kontakt !
